Got hooked on Hannah after listening to the Curious Cases of Rutherford and Fry (well worth a listen if you haven’t already) and am absolutely loving this series! Normally I can’t stand podcasts that only really have one main person making jokes with themselves throughout the whole episode, but...Read full review »

If you are curiously minded and audibly leaning , then this evidence based podcast from an experienced academic is well worth a listening to. Enjoy

I am not good with numbers, charts and analytics, but professor Hanna Fry explains everything in an engaging and interesting way. It’s easy to understand and it makes me want to dig into the topics more!

A must-listen: Each episode is perfect dose of intrigue and excitement laced with new insights into a topic I might otherwise have never had the occasion to properly consider. Even in the episode straying into my own field of science, I got a new tidbit on the granularity of part of a dataset...Read full review »

I absolutely adore Hannah Frye & her work! Sure some of the points get repeated rather often, but she’s a teacher so I understand why she does it. When is the next session coming out??!!

Bloody interesting!

Interesting, but so far, I think this podcast is poorly conceived. The hockey stick episode never actually explains what the accusations were in the “damning” emails or why they were incorrect, so what’s the point of including this as part of the story? Why does everyone think that shorter...Read full review »

This is how to teach maths in a secondary school. Make it real. Make it useful. Show how algebra and geometry as well as arithmetic are used by everyone everyday.

Another fantastic show by Hannah Fry. We get under the hood of some familiar stories, told with a twist.

Professor Fry possesses the unique ability to weave life and mathematics into a beautiful tapestry (or is that graphestry?) Perfectly paced and thoughtfully edited. Topped off with Hannah’s silky smooth voice, this is the best podcast since Curious Cases 😁

Lots of awe and wonder on the part of the presenter. But everything is stated two or three times. In a fourteen minute show that means not much gets covered.

The insights revealed are fascinating and revealing, brilliant

So glad Hannah Fry has done a podcast herself. Love Curious Cases. Some very interesting subject matter presented and so well narrated / scripted by HF. It also makes the maths behind the story just a little less baffling which is always good & likey the point. Passing episodes on to my...Read full review »

Amongst the torpid mundanity this podcast is a fresh breeze of brilliance. Dr Hannah Fry manages to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner that also manages to be elegant and poetic. They episodes are a joy to listen to, my only complaint is that I wish they were longer.

I love Hannah Fry and am very much looking forward to more of this podcast. That said, I go in aware that she is subject to a few logical fallacies, such as the false dichotomy. In the introductory episode she mentions that the original observation that, after wars, we tend to see a spike in male...Read full review »

Love how each episode tells a story and connects different events to show how statistics are important to so many aspects of everyday life

It’s difficult to articulate how much I’ve enjoyed this series! As ever, Hannah has created something charming and fascinating, it’s one of the only few top Podcasts that isn’t riddled with adverts. - Collie Border

This is a brilliant programme. The story behind the story is way more interesting than the headlines. Showing why evidence is important and how it can be used. And why creative thinkers are so important when reviewing evidence.
