The characters are all complex and interesting, and I love the diversity! The ending made me wish for more, but it was also relaxing and nice! There was a plot point about a huge eyeball outside the window that was never talked about again, and I wished there had been a story about it. We gotta...Read full review »

This podcast has excellent worldbuilding, fun and unique characters, good voice acting, and an amazing atmosphere. However, it doesn’t go anywhere. It’s a nice fluffy podcast, and every episode has something happening, but nothing ends up happening. The ending is anticlimactic, and character arcs...Read full review »

If there is a strange sub genre of fiction podcasts about people going in subs underwater I would say I’m a fan. From this to the deep I think they have a good vibe. This one was particularly interesting and I lied the variety of characters

I found the premise interesting and tried really hard to get through this but the main character is insufferable. The “conflict” between characters is worse than high school gossip nonsense. It’s obvious that there was not enough research done into what life on an underwater station would...Read full review »

Nice storylines and sweet discussions of literature and the interactions between the arts and the sciences. It’s always a pleasure to hear Zack Valenti who appears to be in every podcast i listen to these days. Like what others have said that Scottish accent is painful to listen to and completely...Read full review »

While this didn’t consume me with passion for the audio medium, it’s still a good podcast! It starts out a liiiitle rough but it shapes up nicely. Less of a survival space opera (underwater) type drama like I expected, and more of an interpersonal drama! I still like it though, and the end of...Read full review »

I’m down for anything ocean related and yay for lesbian characters, but the story wasn’t as developed as it should have been and the voice acting of the main character is distractingly bad. Not too bad, but probably wouldn’t listen to season 2 unless big changes were made.

This show is surprising and thrilling. It is well written, well casted and well played. I binge-listened to it and now find myself very sad that it is over. I grew quite fond of the characters and very curious about their backgrounds. Thank you for such a good show. Great work !

The voiceacting is fine, the characters are fine, the premise? Mmm. I have a logical problem with this podcast. WHO in their right mind would risk a multi million dollar, hi-tech, UNDERWATER station by letting a random dude who has a reasearch project to conduct just waltz in. Like on...Read full review »

This show was a subtle quiet thing, and I really loved listening to it especially when I was in the mood for something that wasn't too story based but still had a really good narrative flow and characters that I felt for.Read full review »

Fun and diverse characters, it’s not seriouse and still has fun while having seriouse topics. Not sure what the couple of bad reviewers were upset about, audio quality gets better which each episode, like with most podcasts specially Indy ones. ❤️ your doing great guys.

Main character audio sounds like she’s talking through five layers of concrete!!!

This is a super interesting and definitely well done podcast. The narrator is a little frustrating because she’s only ever talking about how terrified of everything she is (even though she volunteered to come down here) - but her interactions with other characters are great!! When she isn’t...Read full review »

This could have been a great story but I could not get through the production value - which is sad. I've gotten to the point that when I can hear the start and stop of the mic, when the sound quality is low, etc. that it drives me to distraction. So - can't comment on the story -...Read full review »

As the least appreciated of the three Procyon podcasts, it’s a shame because this one is so excellent. No supernatural elements and that’s okay! I enjoyed a grounded listening experience where truly the only thing going on is the characters interactions and the all encompassing deep ocean that...Read full review »

This sounds like a Wattpad story written by a middle schooler. I tried to like it and give it a chance but there’s plenty of great sci-fi audio dramas out there to binge. I highly recommend Mission To Zyxx. Hilarious space opera. Check it out.

Despite being a little slow at the beginning, this podcast is amazing. With a diverse cast of characters and lovely writing, Under Pressure is a really great podcast.

If it's from Procyon, you know it's going to be amazing. I have absolutely fallen in love with this little station and its crew (I'm a sucker for anything under the sea) and I cannot wait to hear more from not only this show but this excellent network.Read full review »

Some bad acting moments.... always sounding nervous and pausing is annoying

The writing makes every character sound like a sassy 7th grader. The narrator sounds like she’d struggle delivering a book report to a small classroom. Uneven, weak, and immature. A fully terrible production in every way.

I recently binged the 1st 10 episodes and this podcast feels clumsy and without a 'point.' I listen to a lot of podcasts with Audio Drama being my favorite genre. I am Jamie, the social sciences academic surrounded by lab scientists. I get your struggle. Based on the first 8 episodes, this is a good but not great podcast--one I might recommend to audio drama lovers like me, but not to people just getting into the genre. It's slow-moving, not just in terms of plot but also in how quickly we get a sense of the characters, and the writing...Read full review »

It's fantastic to see Procyon Podcasts leading the call for more diversity in podcasts and all of their podcasts are so solidly written. This podcast is no exception!
