“This podcast is for listeners already super-familiar with Serial and its online reception and aftermath on The Intercept, Reddit, etc. No one else will understand this material. I’m one of those listeners though, so I find the material fascinating. BUT it’s very hard to understand Susan Simpson’s delivery. Sherunsallherwordstogetherwhenshereadsaloud. This is probably just a speech pattern of hers. She talks fast. But Rabia, Susan, etc, if you’re reading this—find someone to work with Susan on her delivery. I literally couldn’t understand some of what she said without “rewinding," and that’s hard in a car. I know Susan's got great material from reading her blog, but she r e a l l y n e e d s t o s l o w d o w n on the mic. I’m sure there are good coaches in the DC area who could help out. Otherwise keep it up for the die-hards. If you want to reach more than just the die-hards, don’t go into such granular detail and provide more reminders about the Big Picture in legal terms.”Read full review »

“The material is good, but the delivery is poor. It's clear the hosts are reading from a script and there is no logical flow. Too many "uh's" and "um's" and Susan talks at like 60 mph. I couldn't finish listening to the first episode because I got so lost and...”Read full review »
