This amazing podcast, is powerful, honest, heartbreaking, but inspiring. I am a domestic abuse survivor and the skill and sensitivity in which Charlie handles this subject is to be admired. It’s especially honest as she is a domestic abuse survivor too. If you’re fortunate enough to have never...Read full review »

It’s fantastic to see domestic abuse being covered in such a well reported way. As a former military police officer, security professional and male survivor, travelling the U.K. to speak on the subject of domestic abuse against men, I found it incredibly refreshing to hear this balanced and non...Read full review »

Charlie does a fantastic job of discussing those topics that are so hard to approach. She bravely shares her story but doesn’t make anything about her - when actually she has every right to after what she has been through. She is brave and courageous and willing to stand up and fight for a...Read full review »

A deeply moving yet beautifully inspiring podcast about the affects and dealing with domestic abuse. It’s not always an easy listen but it is a must-listen. Charlie is an inspirational woman who’s dealt with far more than anybody should ever have to and come out fighting. Incredible.

Fascinating. Really shines a light on an issue that is much more prevalent than we think but seldom discussed. Challenges our assumptions and preconceptions about domestic abuse. Sad listen at times but important stuff.

Changes to legislation, policy and process are often suggested and reforms to systems made without truly considering those it effects.
