Left me with much to think about
This journalistic telling of an investigation into an unsolved lynching revealed many of the ways white supremacy works to this day, how black people have resisted and adapted to survive, and entire communities continue to bear the weight of intergenerational traumas. An eye-opening look into the many shades of silence.
