I came to this podcast late but what a joy , the three hosts are an absolute hoot , their knowledge of music is fantastic and I love their choices of songs to discuss, a special mention to those dancing days and Verona ❤️🇪🇪 I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve been on the train literally...Read full review »

Absolute must-listen territory for me with each episode. Great pop music, great discussion, a lot of LOLs and just a blimmin brilliant 50 minutes each fortnight. (Obvs all the boys are great but I am #TeamStu given a shared love for all things PWL).

One of my fav podcasts, great banter and tunes. Btw, previous reviewer: NOBODY calls it a poddy FFS

Brilliant music poddy, featuring Stu and Sean. Two flopped singles are presented for review by resident muso Joe, who offers in depth musical analysis that is never preachy or judgemental. There is no room for music snobbery, and the chemistry between the three is undeniable. Laugh out loud...Read full review »

I’m a little late to the party, but thrilled to find this podcast. The three boys have a tangible passion for music and their choices are always interesting. Love the catty yet affectionate dynamic between them, far from being a flop.

Stuart, Sean, and Joe! You are the most ! Not only is the content hilarious and educational, it’s full of total gems like “close brackets” and “banger” to name a few. I love that you’ve resurrected flops like “Let her Down Easy” and “Let the River Run” and turned them into hits. You bring the...Read full review »

I've been binge-listening to a bunch of past episodes and it's introduced me to so many bangers. Each episode provides a glimmer of justice for long-lost hits that should've been, it's entertaining AND educational... those other podcasts could NEVER. If you’re looking for some...Read full review »

Unflopped officially saved 2020 for me. Love every episode. What I love the most is the strong and genuine friendship between the presenters. They’re occasionally shady but they really do love each other (and music too)!

After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.

This podcast is so brilliant. I have binged the first two seasons and am now loving series 3. Usually find myself rooting for Shaun’s picks but all three of the guys give such good banter and I LOVE it! Thanks for the lols x

Did you ever wish you had three bffs who shared your love of pop music, especially underappreciated pop gems from the 1980s and 1990s? Three smart, witty mates who you could discuss the merits – and demerits – of the careers of both superstars and stars who didn’t quite make it to “super”? Well,...Read full review »

Unflopped should be made part of the national school curriculum and replace any, and all, other cultural teaching. I believe they have been endorsed by the Sheffield Tourist Board, Scottish National Party and David Bowie’s widow. Do yourself a favour and get your ears ready.

A friend recommended this podcast to me after I mentioned Kirk Hamilton’s podcast, Strong Songs. Unflopped has HOOKED me in an I’m now more than mildly obsessed! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to discuss chord progression, bridges or minor keys in any of the pop songs I love, but I do appreciate...Read full review »

Unflopped is one of the best pop music podcasts I’ve listened to. Expertly crafted and a joy to listen to. Not only will you probably learn new things about music, the presenters are very funny. I particularly love the expert song analysis! Scottish Stewart is amazing. LISTEN!

Love this pod - who knew there are so many amazing songs that were allowed to chart flop? Great selection of ‘lost’ tunes presented, often funny and engaging interactions between the hosts, but...two stars knocked off on the basis of the pods overly-liberal-leftie-ranty, Trumpmania-esque social...Read full review »

I always smile gleefully when a new episode of this podcast appears in my listening queue. The premise is simple: Sean and Stuart each present a flop single (the definition of a flop can vary dependent on the context of the artist’s back catalogue) and give us a bit of background about it, and...Read full review »
