As meditation can be another way of using our internal faculties, this technique introduces the concept that our preferred major representational systems or modalities (visual, auditory and kinaesthetic referred to as V.A.K, learning styles) can influence our preferred meditation techniques. This short meditation introduces the concept of affirmations. The act of affirming is the assertion that something exists or is true. When repeating our affirmations in the state of meditation, we sow seeds into the unconscious mind where they germinate and grow. Affirmations are positive statements that we repeat to ourselves mentally or verbally to bring about a positive change.
