Grieved to see this one sided podcast touted as a Christian podcast. Reminds me of Proverbs 18:17 “The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.” Additionally, the maximized look at emotions rather than any reminder of the truth of the gospel is a real...Read full review »

The Ramsey stuff & u telling your story was really good. The later seasons where u try unpack scripture with no theological qualifiers & twisting scripture to fit your narrative goes beyond the scope of what made this podcast good in the beginning

I was a guest on this podcast and the reason I wanted to be was because of months of hearing her voice and coming to trust her. I can say that “meeting” her through recording (then real meeting a few months later), who she is on these episodes is who she is in person: warm, patient, gracious,...Read full review »

This podcast was my gateway into recognizing my experience as abusive. My counselor gave the illustration of my healing as a ball of yarn and taking one strand of yarn out at a time and deciding if it was helpful or toxic. That is when I found this podcast. It made me feel seen. Thank you for...Read full review »

Amy Fritz is a courageous force against the abuse of power in religious spaces. She conducts excellent interviews, provides engaging and truthful storytelling, and never fails to offer humble and honest musings about the state of things. I grateful for her steady, ongoing work. Keep on, Amy!

Amy and the friends of this pod share all sorts of vulnerable and important conversations about the current mess and potential future of the church. It is simultaneously well produced and outstanding content.

Admittedly, I came here for tea and got it. I listened to a couple episodes, but it sounds a lot like gossip about people/organizations outside themselves. They don’t talk enough about their own experiences, just the bad in others. Lack of accountability and responsibility.

Good bc Amy for created this to expose DR/RS, bad bc her and some of her guest took it alllllll the way to the other side—almost continuously pushing victim mentality.

Untangled is a fantastic podcast. It speaks truth into untangling the faith that so many of us grew up with, in addition to bringing to light toxic workplaces.

This is a compelling podcast that tells hard stories with compassion and nuance. I think people people who are newly disillusioned with Evangelical churches and culture after having previously being immersed in it will find thus podcast especially helpful and relatable.

I love these interviews with a variety of guests who help Christians untangle some of the lies we’ve believed that leave us vulnerable to spiritual abuse. Very thought-provoking.

I just found this podcast yesterday and I have binged almost all of the episodes. I’m learning so much. I love all the new resources I’m learning about as well. Spiritual abuse is much too common and this is a great resource to learn how to discern if you are experiencing it in your life.

I am constantly telling people about this podcast. I found it at a time when I was very disillusioned with a certain financial organization and it was mind blowing to hear their story. The focus on untangling faith and dealing with Spiritual Abuse in all areas is also fantastic. Much needed voice.

This podcast sheds some light on the issues of power in our day. Many people, especially “Christians” want to dismiss the ways that power affect our culture and lives.
