Peniley and Maria bring the right combination of factual insights and an engaging delivery. The passion for their work is evident. The don’t just tell you about the story—they immerse you into the experience. Despite being a heavy topic, I felt like I was having a passionate conversation with two...Read full review »

These presenters are not only top notch journalists but also champion storytellers who make the people and events real and immediate for us listeners. ¡Gracias, Maria y Peniley!

I love this pod & the hosts. Excellent storytelling that’s highly informative, brilliant insight, great balance of personality & professional investigative journalism. I had no idea about this case (or my tax $ funding these creeps!); and later only saw two (NPR & AP) American media...Read full review »

It’s no secret that Americas cup of coffee is cocain.. We all hear about Mexican cartels , what happened to the cartels in USA? How come no one talks about it. This episode only gives us and idea of how rotten is all of this ..

Was hoping for a deep dive on this story but it starts off like a gossip show.

Show is great and engaging. I like that both host make this subject interesting and not scary. Hoping for a Spanish version of all episodes but either way the show is great.

For a first season, it is okay but not nearly as deep as it could be. It would be good to look into USAID project interventions and what is described as impact - this is missing here, same with insight the many US agencies that have US tax payer investment (including 10s of millions in law...Read full review »

Muy accesible para los podcasters, es un tema profundo y complicado pero las anfitrionas lo hacen bien amigable sin dejar de darnos a conocer la importancia del tema

Scary, infuriating, eye opening….Wish there was so much more like this is Spanish. My mom would be hooked! Thank you for all the work, invaluable work. Cuídese mucho y muchas, muchas gracias.

This show is excellent, and I love the rapport between the hosts. Will this show continue and cover the trial? I sure hope so!

I am blown away by your reporting, by your investigation, the way it is all presented here and of course, by the story itself. As Penniley mentioned: la realidad supera a la ficción una vez más . Bravo a Penniley y Bravo a María 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Chapeau para Futuro Media ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Peniley is a good journalist who did a lot of research on Garcia-Luna. But unfortunately it didn’t translate into a good podcast. The other host does not bring much to the table and her jokes and insight are not good.

This podcast really needs tighter editorial effort. It could be a lot more succinct, it could stop telling me how I’m supposed to feel about things, and it would be such a powerful story, if this were the case.

Thank you ladies for bringing another light in corruption and complicity! Yes complicity is what our corporate medía has done to keep stories like these one away from the tax payers ears. Thank you! Salute con Tequila!

This podcasts is awful, just tell the facts. Don’t tell me how I’m gonna feel about the content. Let me decide that…

Peniley’s journalism is so interesting and important and I love her podcasting voice!

I personally prefer podcasts like Reveal, succinct and serious. This podcast feels more like a chat where a friend tells the other how she wrote her book. It feels that 15 min of information is spread over an hour long chat. Peniley’s pronunciation is also hard to understand. Wish the format was...Read full review »
