One of my favorites
As an Eastern North Carolinian who grew up here in the 80’s and 90’s, I loved everything about this podcast series. The music, storytelling and interviews with residents captured the tone and kind of good-natured lawlessness of the time period. Even now, Coastal NC can be a pretty strange place, especially some of the smaller towns. I think the hosts did a great job telling this wild story. I only wish it was longer! Listening to the episodes really took me back to my childhood. While we didn’t have massive amounts of cocaine or planes making emergency landings (that I was aware of), we had enough small-town hijinks and drama to fill a book. Thanks for the throwback and for bringing to light a little-known chapter of our history. Can’t wait to hear what’s up next!

The story is interesting, the hosts are fascinating to listen to. I do recommend it though. Please...Read full review »

The podcast is interesting but for a 30 minute podcast at least half of it is commercial content. Quit listening mid way in the 3rd episode.

Can I just say what a huge fan of Kyle and TP I’ve been since the very 1st day came out? That alone makes me so excited to listen. Ep 1 has intrigued me to listen to this amazing story that I don’t ever remember hearing about! Thanks 🎉
