I enjoyed the story and also the music interludes. There’s some dark humour to keep things fresh! Very entertaining.

It started good as others have stated. I felt like episode 4 and 5 felt a bit phoned in. Lots of wasted time I thought when the podcaster rambles on about whether or not to interview a key character in the podcast and then ultimately decides not to, for what seems like pretty convoluted...Read full review »

I listen to podcasts for several hours each day while working, dog walking, chores, driving, etc and I have pretty high standards for production quality and content. I’m writing this review after listening to the story on Tim & his search and recovery organization. Pros: the intrigue of the...Read full review »

I really, really tried to like this podcast. But the Tim bashing behind his back and thinking he was trying to get her to do his “dirty work” by confronting Clyde missed the mark. What’s worse is it seemed like a convenient excuse for her not to interview him. As a journalist, it hurts my soul...Read full review »

I think my friend Maníge Blackburn would make a hilariously satisfying season. She’s like a Jack of all vigilantes, but harmless and petty to the extreme 🤣Anyways! Love the show!

Really liked the show and the hosts reporting. But like many of the other reviews have said, the ads are terribly placed throughout the show. Placing an ad mid-sentence is pretty low quality production work. I’ve noticed this on other Kast media shows as well. While I would love to subscribe to...Read full review »

The volume and the timing of ads is so jarring that I’ve stopped listening to episodes. I get that you need to get paid but most decent podcasts let you know when they’re going to add and don’t do so in the middle of a sentence.

I really enjoyed this podcasts. Pleasant voice to listen to, and well produced and put together.

Hi, This is an outstanding podcast, but unfortunately there is a persistent editing flaw. In the middle of heady, emotional conversations, there is an interruption of jarring, upbeat ads. These occur mid-sentence. I’m a huge podcast fan, and I have yet to listen to a podcast that messes up ad...Read full review »

Just in the middle of a sentence boom LOUD AD. So frustrating. Have some respect for your listeners.

I got aware of the show through hannah smith podcast the opportunist. In this show I really liked the reflections of the host on how she suddenly got a part of the whole entanglement of relations and the investigations. Looking forward to a new season.

Host was extremely self-important and smarmy, which completely took away from the show. I was interested in hearing about a man who would go to any length to find a killer, but this ended up sounds like the host had a personal vendetta against him and wanted to make a slam piece. This show was...Read full review »

Super interesting, host is a great journalist. Blown away by the Tim Miller reporting. Fascinating man and great coverage of his life and his work. Looking forward to more episodes. Thank you!

The stories may be interesting, but the host sounds depressed. Couldn’t get through the first couple of episodes.

I love this podcast so much! It’s so smooth, and the perfect length as well! Y’all did such an amazing job, and I can’t wait to listen to every episode!!!

Over-hyped and anti-climactic.

I really enjoy this podcast. The stories are interesting. I really like that the episodes are “just right” length for how long it takes me to get to work.

Holy smokes! This is a great podcast. I’ve binged the entire first season and one snowy afternoon. I cannot wait until the second season.
Nullity via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/14/22
Confusing and sensationalized. The story just isn’t that great, despite the host trying to make it more interesting and dramatic than it really is. Ultimately nothing is resolved and there is no real end to this story.

I found the overall story of Tim and his life to be interesting but I have to say, I felt very disappointed with the way things just ended and the lack of ‘digging’ in to the crime itself. I understand it was being produced in real time..but nothing was really investigated thoroughly or followed...Read full review »

This is probably the weakest True Crime Podcast I’ve ever listened too. Muddled and poorly told and with a very odd approach from the journalist. Bizzare. Could’ve been a 15 minute excerpt on TAL, rather than drawn out over hours.

You sound like you are BORED TO DEATH reading your script….your voice drops at the end of every sentence. So depressing to listen to!!!
zsazi via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/29/22
I thought this started off well, but I was really turned off by the host insinuating that it was Tim’s fault that a suspect took his own life. I’ve also never heard a journalist talking so much about being afraid, and in this case, it seems very unfounded.

I understand that the reporter was scared of the man accused of being a serial killer and that he was most definitely not a good dude, BUT if the story was too scary for her, she shouldn’t have done it at all. Instead, she worked as a tool for Tim Miller, concluding at the end that there was...Read full review »

After listening to this podcast, I keep hearing ads for it and they infuriate me. One reviewer called it click bait, and that's exactly what it is. Talk about anticlamactic. Was annoyed by the amateur host. A lot of whining. We all get you don’t like Tim.
Birthcup via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/03/22
The series about Tim and his daughter - it started off interesting but then the last three episodes just basically regurgitate the first two episodes. The biggest aspect of this would be a conversation with the prime suspect yet the host wrote it off as being too dangerous. To investigate a...Read full review »

Kind of misleading because, all the podcast listed in your bio you say you are similar to…. You are a combination of all their worst qualities. The mindless drivel & pointless banter is worse than the last Podcast On The Left and I was a diehard morbid fan, but I just can’t listen to them...Read full review »

So anticlimactic, pointless and boring. Ads are really misleading.
WIL Double via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/16/22
The trailer for this podcast is extremely misleading. It implied that the father was evil & she was in danger. I’m on episode three & I’m still waiting for actual suspense. Random people are talking, there’s zero context of who they are, nothing is being explained. I hear her say “they...Read full review »

This podcast sounded great in the ads but after listening to it, I promise you it’s not what it claims to be. The hosts life is never in danger. Tim sounds not just “maybe, sort of, a little unethical.” He sounds like a manipulative, vicious con. He rallied the whole town against an innocent man until that man died by suicide. And then Tim just moved on to someone else. He repeatedly bullies and manipulates people out of their homes or...Read full review »
