“Lee is off to a great start! On Episode 9 and each episode is excellently researched and narrated in an engaging and non-college lecture style. Keep up the good work and looking forward to future podcast segments covering a time period that is reasonably well-known in general but that most people really don't understand the detail that made up the Viking age.
October 15 Update---3 months later, Lee continues to provide as well researched episodes as possible given the limitations of records at that time. He always clarifies his degree of confidence in these sources and trys to draw reasonable conclusions from the data available. Lee also has an understandable and easy to listen to lecture style. “This is a wonderful podcast in an ever growing universe of history podcasts. As far as I know, this is the only podcast that really goes into detail on the Vikings. Listening to this podcast makes me want to start raiding my southern neighbors in Colorado for slaves.”
