2nd Season Great - 1st too biased
Both seasons were interesting but the second was more captivating than the first. My issue with season one is the clear bias of the journalist. I would expect more from a station that prides itself on journalism- Beth S clearly thinks the murderer has been wronged and the system is too conservative- the bias makes it really hard to listen to

US Criminal system needs reform. Jacob Wideman is not the reason why. All said, sounds like a thrill-kill. He would’ve gotten the death penalty if not for his age so life w/out parole is mercy. I find it interesting that many reviews want to state “a man murdered a family’s child”. A child, with uncontrolled / undiagnosed temporal epilepsy, with a history of having been sexually abused, killed another child.
