Funny and weird
Really one sided with no real view of the murdered boys family. They make believe that it should be ok because of a supposed mental issue. This is a well put together podcast but hard to take serious as a story. If you didn’t know the color of skin, you’d say keep him in jail.

This is a tour de force of reporting on complicated and challenging topic. Very empathetic and aware, but also highly educational. Thank you for making this podcast.

I had a difficult time listening to this tragedy. But I’m glad I did since I probably would not read the story. I think too that Erik would be ashamed of his parents for using their hate and influence to keep Jake in prison long after he has proven he is no longer a threat and served his time....Read full review »
