Exceptional
The host did incredible work. She made every effort to convey the rightful pain of the victim’s family. There’s a lot of talk of manipulation on the part of Jake. But so many people manipulated this system: the victim’s family, the ex husband, the parole board, the AZ justice system. Jake must behave perfectly, and he is still punished. If Jake had impulses that could possibly cause harm, that behavior would have manifested at some point in the 30 years since. There’s no record of him ever acting rashly, violently, or impulsively in a way that would justify their framing of him. Shame on AZ, and shame on the vengeful manipulation of those who have gone out of their way to perpetuate his sentence.

The content is (oddly) very biased against the victim and his family. I wish I could have heard arguments for AND against letting Wideman out on parole. 7 episodes painting the murderer in a sympathetic light is too much.
