I really love this podcast but very disappointed they removed the Richard Stanley episode. I understand there’s been allegations but nevertheless it’s a very interesting and fascinating interview with him and I don’t think it’s right to remove it. Whatever happened to innocent until proven...Read full review »

This is such a gorgeous podcast. The presentation , guests, stories and music all form a really engaging and beautiful experience. Elijah and Daniel’s giddy reverence of the horror genre is just infectious. I always recommend Visitations to friends, I really hope they do another season one day!

These guys are really onto something. They have the industry knowledge and care to carry out these interviews in a way that gives us a behind the scenes look as to what these creators are really all about. It’s genius.

The conversations are so freeform and honest and vulnerable and insightful and great. The docu-lite-feel of the open and close with a simple but incredibly catchy tune stays with me long after I finish each ep. Hats off. The bar has been set. Thank you.

I love interview podcasts and this has become my favorite. Daniel and Elijah are so relaxed but at the same time are intrusive in the minds of their guests, they just make the right questions to comprehend the creative process. I hope they get more episodes out.

This podcast is exactly what I needed right now to get me back to feeling excited about something without it being too overwhelming. Questions are being asked and answered but the format doesn’t feel as uptight and serious as an interview but rather like you getting to be a part of this cool and...Read full review »

Just finished Season 1. Enjoyed all episodes but the 2-parter with Guillermo Del Toro was especially great, very moving.

Even if you don’t like horror but you like creative people talking about being creative you’ll like this. Hoping for season 2!

Wouldn’t have begun the process of trying to become a filmmaker myself without these two and the way in which they speak to their guests. Daniel and Elijah are going to usher in a ton of young blood by simply speaking. Five stars just doesn’t seem like enough.

I found this podcast during the lockdown and I’m really happy I did. I love that the hosts actually record their journey going to visit the guests which makes this podcast so unique. I’m just taking my time to listening to each episode, taking it one day at a time.

There was, I believe, a genuine push for authenticity on the hosts part originally. But it’s soon revealed in the episode with John Landis that those attempts were brought to a halt. For example, the choice to create faux conversations when first arriving at the interviewee’s location allows the...Read full review »

One of my very favorite podcasts. I love the horror genre and it’s apparent in each episode that Daniel & Elijah are true fans. They are terrific interviews and a great hang.

Great conversations on creativity and life. Taking the interviews away from the usual anecdote touch points provided on a promotion tour. Relaxed and intimate .

Listening to the Guillermo del Toro episodes was so touching and real. This show really goes to a place that is hard and sometimes sad but shows the person behind the famous name. You guys rock

I subscribed to listen to the excellent two part interview with Guillermo Del Toro, but I enjoyed every episode as I got introduced to creators I did not know. I am a Shudder member for suspense & indie films, but not necessarily a gore horror fan. However, I learned about a different...Read full review »

Really enjoyable and provides interesting insight. Really like the focus on the deeper things in life. Only criticism - please stop saying Wow! Sorry I’m British/Swedish so find it hard to sound that enthusiastic!

About the only fault I can summon up for Daniel Noah’s and Elijah Wood’s excellent podcast is that each episode could be a good 30+ minutes longer. Easily. From the interview subjects to the unguarded turns every interview takes, this is like catnip for anyone who values insightful, deep-dive...Read full review »

Such a great podcast. I love the guests so much and most I’ve never heard an interview of before. Just the right amount of time for the episodes. Elijah Wood also has a beautiful voice.

I know it is just beginning, but this I why I love podcasts. Intimate talks with people about what they do and why they do it. It feels like friends getting together to talk, and we get to listen in. Keep it up and this will probably be a new favorite podcast.
