Thought-provoking and important conversations
This is such a good podcast. I've been listening for a few years now and I am excited every time a new episode shows up in my podcast feed. It’s perfect for my morning walks with the dog. For someone who has found themselves in a weird place without a church congregation to call "home" for a few years now, this has been one of the primary places I have been turning to for spiritual nourishment. It goes deep and even though the episodes are often more than an hour, I keep wanting to hear more! Today, I found myself being very grateful for this and had to give a glowing review :) The conversations these guys are having are so relevant and important for the church to hear and I admire the posture they approach things with. They are thoughtful, humble, open-minded and not afraid to dive in to difficult topics. And they do go deep on many hot-button issues the church faces. Many of the perspectives that have been shared have shifted my own views in significant ways. Thank you Mike, Tim (and of course Seth!) and all the past hosts and guests who have been a part of this awesome podcast. You've blessed me greatly.Read full review »

Start from episode one and listen through chronologically. Mike is humble and thoughtful, funny and meek in the best way. Need more role models of spiritual and religious thought like Mike.

Mike does not give preachy teachy view of bible. He dives in to the historical content of the scriptures which allow for depth and understanding to take place in my heart. I retain so much more about scripture.
