Waiting To Dry is a great podcast with interesting and honest conversations about the life of an artist and as a human being in general. Joshua and Sergio are my favourite company when painting. Definitely worth your time.

52 years as a black man on this earth and this tool Josh Lawyer wants to tell me that I am too hard on the racists. I'm finna drag the racists. I'm finna tag everyone with zero hesitation or shame. The people who I collab with wanna know. The people who look at the art I bring to them...Read full review »

I love this podcast. Listen to this whilst painting by myself. Helps me feel a little less stir crazy and lonely

The banter of Sergio Lopez and Joshua Lawyer had a visceral connection with my senses. The biomorphic sounds generated by Sergio’s soundboard, in relation to Joshua’s ethos, codifies the accessibility of the podcast with an aggressive use of esoteric vernacular. I was surprised that the...Read full review »

One of the best episodes to date. The discussion of embracing your reasoning for making your art and the gallery tips were spot-on.

I love having this podcast playing in the studio. Most art postcast get 'lost in the weeds' and just get boring. Really boring. These guys blend great humor with some of the most insightful discussions in studio art. They have fantastic guests and I think you will find bolts of...Read full review »

Perfect podcast to have playing in the studio, in the car on a road trip...wherever. Are you going to hear super deep art related conversation every episode...no, but you will hear a bit about everything from Sergey’s experience with plein air events to Josh’s deep hate for art schools and the...Read full review »

If you wanna hear about art from ego driven clowns who probably wouldnt gove u the time of day in person then this podcast will fill your narcissistic needs. 👍

I enjoy all the banter but especially when the hosts/guests talk about art philosophy.

I have been listening to your podcast for about a year now and I still look forward to it every week. Thanks for the laughs, the insights, perspectives and sharing your awesome conversations with other artists. You guys are my remote art community. 🤘🤓

Josh goes off on tangents about himself , he cuts off guest to give his opinion or say what he would do. Let the guest speak! The hanging out interview is fun but when josh constantly talks about himself every episode, i dont learn anything about the guest.

Love the Intro music. The hosts giggle and mumble and pause, a lot. Podcast has no clear focus. There are not enough painter podcasts, I want this one to be good... it just isn’t.

These two are open and honest about their perspective on art. They create interesting topics on and around the subject while keeping a relevant relation to today. Both being talented and skilled artists, they know the technicalities of their craft, which is not usually left out of their...Read full review »

I’ve become quite the fan of Sergio and Josh’s podcast, so much so that now it’s pretty much a part of my painting process. Having done some time at the academy, it’s fun to hear the rants about art school and get the latest news on the Bay Area art scene. As a fan of Josh and Sergio’s work (and...Read full review »

I love Waiting To Dry! This podcast is equal parts inspiring art talk and hanging around with your friends over coffee. Sergio and Joshua and their fine line up of guests get me pumped to create stuff and also give me a good laugh throughout the episode. Cheers guys!

I was going to send a direct message or email, but I've decided to write a review instead. I'm a painter who listens to podcasts non-stop. I've heard nearly all of the other art podcasts and this one is the most helpful and relatable. Josh and Sergio deliver a humble and honest...Read full review »

This is a podcast hosted by two great artists, Joshua Lawyer and Sergio Lopez. They go off subject sometimes but it’s always entertaining either way. Great in depth art talk and random ramblings too.

Two guys drinking beers and talking about life (and occasionally art!) amongst themselves or with a guest. This has been a super enjoyable art podcast to listen to. It's not pretentious nor snooty (although Existentialism and Stocism are sometimes mentioned:-)), it's just down to earth art talk. Heard a few episodes and I like them! They are relatable, friendly, funny and have great guests. They are in my local Santa Rosa community and it’s great to hear other artists tell their stories. It’s an easy listen while I’m getting work done in my studio.

This podcast is great. Sergio and Josh are always keeping it real.
