COVID is infectious not because the Ro(r ‘naut’) value is high. It is infectious because it is not too deadly, which gives it time to spread and allows itself to hide amongst the hosts.
Saying it is infectious because Ro is high, is akin to answering ‘Why is this car fast?’ with ‘Because it’s speed is 200mph.’ No! It is because it has a good engine. 🤦🏻♂️”
