Knee surgery
Hi Dave! Just had my second knee surgery so am in the process of recouping. I have listened to pretty much all your podcasts and love them! I have always been a walker…got that from my mother who was still walking into her 90’s! The last 10 years or so I have not been as faithful but I am going to change that! Your podcasts have inspired me to get back to doing what I have always loved! I have been driving 15 miles to exercise classes as I live in a small town in Iowa. You helped me see that I can do my favorite activity each day and not drive at all! As soon as I get the doctor’s ok I will be making that fitness promise and work each day to achieve it! I also plan to donate to the podcast. Thanks for all you do! Gloria

I found Dave when he was doing his 20k per day for a year streak and followed his blog. When Dave started his podcast, I tried it. Dave’s subjects have ah hah moments when you say, hey that’s so true making it click. It really relates to my walking and likely many others.

I love walking, and I wanted to listen to someone talking about the feelings that we all, walk-lovers, have the privilege to experience. Listening to this it’s like taking a walk with a calm, uplifting, and wise man who likes to have little polite chats with strangers. It’s good.
