Meh
As a devotee of true crime podcasts, I realized after a while that that stuff can depress you. So I expanded my search for other podcasts and was really happy to find this one. I grew up watching Little House, and then started watching the old ones in reruns while the original was still airing (WPIX!). So I know the show pretty well. My problem with this podcast is that, after a year or more of listening to it, I find that at times the hosts move pretty slowly, and there can be some amount of dead air, as if they don't know what they want to say. At other times, they do know what they want to say and it can be a little snotty. Now, I think everyone can joke about Michael Landon's/Pa's need to not wear a shirt and to break his ribs, but something about the last podcast I listened to (The Election), with the main host making up a fake ending and the cohost laughing and snorting just really rubbed me the wrong way. It's a decent podcast, but I've noticed that, after listening for this long I am starting to be bored by it.Read full review »
