Wonderful learning opportunity
This podcast series follows Wayne Grudem's book, Systematic Theology. I purchased an earlier edition about ten years ago when I first became convinced of the possibility of Christ. I received my faith in Christ while studying this book. I have begun reading it again and found this podcast series which led me to the Phoenix Seminary website where Mr. Grudem teaches. This podcast series is his semester course in Introduction to S.T., I think. They should edit out his throat gurgles which are very distracting and kind of gross on tape, which amplifies them. In class, the students probably did not notice them much, sitting from a distance during his lectures. They also need to number and arrange the podcasts to correspond to his book, which he bases his lectures on and give a link to the syllabus that his students are following. This is a four hr credit course, I believe. I would pay for the entire podcast series if these changes are adopted. At any rate, the content is excellent. Grudem is balanced and open in his teaching approach and with the interactions with his students, something I have rarely experienced in my college lectures. You also benefit from the Q&A sessions at the end of some lectures. Thankfully, we are spared the hymn singing. Five star content; Four star delivery. Worth the download. Improve the delivery and it would be worth a purchase. I only wish Phoenix offered web classes or online classes as I do not live in Phoenix AZ. If I can find out the correct podcast order I will post it here. Enjoy.Read full review »

I love Grudem’s humble approach, teaching multiple sides and giving solid biblical evidence for doctrines of Christianity. It’s interesting and thought-provoking!
