“Here's a podcast that's perfect for planners, from casual planners to the over-planners! (Raise your color-coded binders, people!) Shannon breaks down the info you need to know into bite-size (roughly 30 minute) chunks. I found her podcast while planning my first family trip to WDW that we'll be taking in early April with my 4 and 5 year old boys. I've been to WDW several times, but my last trip was about 15 years ago and I did none of the planning.
I love the predictable format of the shows -- Intro, preview of what's to come, highlighted info, overview of why the show's subject is important, a list of main points, a quick wrap up, and closes with a tip of the day! I like that she doesn't waste time talking about irrelevant stuff -- you don't need to have listened to all the shows before to understand any inside jokes, there's not a lot of personal information and backstory other than her personal experiences in WDW as they relate to the show's topic.
Shannon makes the overwhelming amount of info, tips, and tricks about planning a trip to Disney World feel completely digestible. She steers you in the right direction, shares her expertise, and weighs out the pros and cons for each of the options.
