Where Real Life Happens
I am 65 year old retired male and this is the first podcast I have listened to in my life and it has been epic in my life for insights and ongoing growth. I was drawn to it like a moth to a flame and only after the fact did I know why. I loved the episode where Abby asks why can’t she love herself? Shot directly to my heart! I recognized myself in what she said and it woke me up in a way that I needed. Also, I fell in love with her as a person for her vulnerability and candor. I feel like if I could open up more like that and be that intimate, I would truly love myself in ways I only dreamed about. It’s now a path among many for me as well. When are you going to follow up that episode? And how about Alok who said “ And what my gender journey was about is less about finding my gender and more about being able to walk on the earth and feel it, being able to speak with a kind of conviction where my words actually landed. How I got there is what other people call gender, but what I call healing myself.” I felt that deeply and it moved me. Also, Thank you for putting the transcripts on your website because I prefer to read them so when I read something important, I can stop, reread and ponder things for a bit also know as savoring. This is important work that you do. It is making a real positive difference. And the fact that it’s hard makes it more impactful in my case. Thank you so much!!!!

This podcast intro got me so pumped to listen to the first episode. Why hasn’t Glennon had a podcast before now?
