“I am 72. I am invisible most of the time and no one is around to hear my outbursts of laughter and gut wrenching guffaws as I wander around my space. Listening to Abby, Glennon, Amanda and their podcasters has given me my first glimpse of digital life as a place for intimacy. If you’re lonely, connect with “the girls”, I think, as I grab my earbuds and join the rooms. I have always valued my female relationships highly. I have deeply felt loss over the deaths of the “BFFs” from my beginnings. The girlfriends of our past lives swirling in my memories.
My haven is a bird sanctuary, created over many seasons to capture the beauty and serenity that a small wildlife preserve offers to its willing worshippers. I also paint flowing colors of all the colors randomly following a course on the rock face! Those flowing rocks connect me to my dear ones, my sisters already gone with the Spirit. I feel the power of the sizzle in Nature.
Thank you all for being there when I was searching. Open to new ideas and suggestions. I love you as if I have known you all my life.
