Achtung, Raus, Got in Himmel, Aargh!
Excellent and informative podcast from 2 highly knowledgeable hosts. Often very funny (brigadiers stuck in attics, US generals near but not actually on their objectives, etc). Sometimes unintentionally hilarious. Listen to Dunkirk day 5 when rival historian Seb Cox refuses to agree with anything James Holland has to say, however confidently. Reading the Cauldron by Zeno was inspired. I was so engrossed during the flame thrower attack I ran over and severed the electric cord on my lawnmower. Keep digressing!

More reviews of WW2 Pod
Found the pod a week ago and have downloaded and listened to them all in a week. Great stuff so interesting and delivered with such passion and knowledge. I thought WWII experts would be sat in shed wearing a cardigan drinking tea polishing things.

Lots of great lesser know stories, listened to the back catalogue looking forward to the next installment.

As a long time fan of both Al Murray and military history, this ticked all of my boxes. The podcast is informative without being bogged down with “academic speak”. Well done to all involved.
