“Enjoyed for a while but now finding Al too overbearing and over excited, leading to a rather stressful experience for the listener.
Unfortunately Al is just itching to interrupt and throw out everything he knows on a subject. You can simply ask a question and facilitate a conversation, rather than use a question as an opportunity to throw out everything you can on a subject before letting the real historians answer.
Long, rambling, confused questions, no real attention to the answers, more.. how can I show something else I know about this? A shame, so much potential but lacking a real facilitator to sheer the conversation. Overexcited point scoring at the moment. Have loved James for years so hoping for this to change.”
