With their grandmother dead, Jamison and Ashani go to the family chapel to pay homage and potentially cast a speak with dead spell (if she's actually dead). But another mourner is there paying respects. She hugs Jamison close and tells him to run.

This episode is split into 2 parts because an illness delayed editing. Episode 18 Part 2 will be published on Friday Sept 21 with a normal every-other-week episodes starting again on Sept 28.  Ashani has now seen with her own eyes that their family is directly involved in enslaving the merfolk and is determined to cut out the rot from the family and reclaim their name. But before they can do that, they need a plan.

The famous rogue Tarvek "Two-Fingers" is working for the Storm Queen and has offered to show our heroes exactly what the Fen family has been up to underwater where they thought they were free of watching eyes. Loyal Ashani refuses to believe her beloved family could be slavers, forcing merfolk to harvest precious gem coral which is food underwater but money above it.

Our heroes have been "escalated" to someone higher up the chain of merfolk command. The sea swimmers don't trust them, but if they can find allies in the fight against the Fen family who are in the Fen family it's worth checking out. Our heroes have dived back down into the ocean to follow their swordfish guide Sabre in an attempt to find the Storm Queen's hideout. A large shark couldn't even last 6 seconds against them, so when they saw lights coming toward them they thought they could handle it. Can they?

Our heroes set out following a swordfish trying to find the lair of the Storm Queen but got more than they bargained for when Kelsey's past caught up with her. They seem to have left the Flying Arrow behind, but when they dive underwater they might find other foes waiting.
