But…Stop it with the photos of you for the episode image. I listen for a reason. It bums me out seeing what you look like. 4/5 stars since I often find one or two of your guests are too conservative for me and I think generally not representative of the average Seattleite.

This is a weekly listen for me. I love keeping up on local Seattle politics. What I appreciated about this show is that it’s mostly reporting without (much) analysis. Recently (over the past two weeks) the guests have become much more hard left / hard right and devolved into more political...Read full review »

Yay, Joni Balter this week!😊

I lived in Seattle for 20 years always heard about the debate between the two cities… now I live in Portland and I have NEVER EVER heard any talk of rivalry or competition or even shade. It’s a non-topic. What does that mean? I think we all know.

This is a weekly listen for me. I think Bill is an excellent host and brings great topics to the show. There are many rotating guests. Most are good. But some (Lauryn in particular) come off as living in a hipster bubble where every corporation, politician or police officer is bad.

Recently they haven’t been releasing this the day it was recorded. Not sure why, but there really isn’t any point listening to a week old news show. Hope they start posting same day again.

Generally a good summary of the week’s news in Seattle. However, would benefit from greater diversity of perspectives. Too often dominated by far left progressive voices who don’t seem to recognize the bubble they are in.
Austin Owl via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/23/23
Bill does a decent job being objective. The guests are progressives and far left, and they sideline moderate democrats. Not objective or balanced, but that is typical for media on both ends of the political spectrum now. Almost unlistenable now.

Week in Review is hands down my favorite hour of radio each week. This show, its host Bill Radke, and guests have brains and heart.

Easy to listen to, entertaining, collegial and educational. My favorite Friday afternoon commute listen

More Ross Reynolds less Radke. Ross seems to be the better host. Not many shows about Seattle - serves that purpose.

This used to be a podcast I looked forward to every week. It made an admirable effort to be well-rounded, even though it’s always been left-of-center. Now, it’s always the same tired, far-left group of people, most of whom are bitter, delusional, and probably suffering from mood disorders. They...Read full review »

A real yawn if you don’t live in Seattle. It could be interesting if it was about the puget sound area, but it’s only about what rich Seattle folks care about. I live on Bainbrige Island and no thanks.

I used to love this show, back when the guests had a variety of insightful and varied opinions and news. It, like myself, has always skewed left, but the show seemed to try to give a balanced and fully formed picture of what is going on in our region. Too often now, the commentary is so far left...Read full review »

This used to be my favorite podcast, back when it included voices from across the political spectrum. The reporting is still good, but it’s clearly slanted to the left. Bring back more centrist and conservative perspectives!

This podcast is a must listen for Seattleites and those Seattle-adjacent. Bill Radke is a fantastic host and his rotating panelists are also great.

Bill Radke is so good at this! He knows as much as his guests on this week’s breaking topics, and he steers the ship from serious to light hearted like he was born to do it. He’s really funny too. I’ve loved him in this format since his Rewind days back in the day. The rotating guests are...Read full review »

The core hosts are solid, but that just makes it worse when they bring on such abysmal guests as Brandi Kruse and others and do nothing to temper their brain dead commentary.

Very informative. Great host! I listen every week.

I would give this show 5 stars until last year, when they shifted their panel from an eclectic mix of current and former politicians and journalists, to just journalists. While it continues to be well moderated--Bill Radke is a natural--and the journalist guests are competent, experienced, and...Read full review »

This is the best locally produced show on KUOW by far. Good range of guests and coverage of topics of interest to those in the Seattle area. Keep up the good work!

Insightful, amusing and inclusive of varied viewpoints. Guaranteed you will learn something important from Bill Radke and the rotating panel of smart, we’ll-informed journalists and politicians. I NEVER miss this show.

The guests reflects the Seattle demographics, which means they go from very much left to squishy right-of-center. If you keep an active mind you can still get a lot of good info from the show. I wish they had Joni Balter more often; she's the best of the crew, IMHO.Read full review »

I wish your discussion about election results and what passed and what did not and the results of state house was more clear. I still don’t know if Dems have majority in Wa state or not. I have to go to Ny Times election results to find specifics. No I don’t watch tv either so radio is my main...Read full review »

I really, really respect and appreciate the way Bill Radke moderates this snow. There is fairness, compassion, humor, good questions, and occasionally pushing a bit on guests to not let them off the hook. I’ve heard only one bad episode, and that’s when a guest was on who didn’t seem game to...Read full review »

I always know Bill and his guests will pick apart the weeks most important news in a way that highlights multiple perspectives while still keeping it light.

When Chris Vance, Joni Balter, and Erica “Crank” Barnett are on Bill’s show the soft Right, Center, and far Left (this is public radio afterall) all have a chance to voice their opinions on head taxes, bike lanes, the homeless, and many other issues that make up Seattle politics. Balter always...Read full review »

Bill does a great job teeing up interesting and relative topics. I very much appreciate the diverse views of the panelists he secures - as a listener it helps me dorm my own opinion which tends to be somewhere in between 🙂

Give room to Joni Balter. I’ve enjoyed her journalistic no-nonsense expertise for years. But I unsubscribed after the shrill ranting Savage brought to the show 2/2/18 and the subsequent war between Chris and him. Chris is usually more point-counter-point but you hear his struggle with the...Read full review »
