Charming presenters discussing serious issues of politics and faith without sounding too serious. Yet proving Manning’s point that ‘all human conflict is ultimately theological’.

Definitely the best thing to come out of the CoE since John Henry Newman! Seriously, it’s obvious a lot of work and thought has gone into this and the commitment to Christian orthodoxy is deeply encouraging.

A lot I agree with, a lot I don’t, but always a good listen.

Thought provoking and intelligent podcast that is not afraid to deal with difficult spiritual matters. Very well presented and always entertaining as well. Godspeed to you all.

A great weekly take on current affairs from a Biblical and theological perspective by three CofE Revs who are theologically sound! I really enjoy listening every week whilst I work. It is an excellent alternative to listening to or reading the mainstream news, to receive news from a truly...Read full review »

A great blend of humour, insight and wisdom. I appreciate your encouragement to think deeply and question broadly, using the Bible as our plumbline. Both reassuring and encouraging. I like your Scripture slot and hearing news of Salcombe, a favourite holiday spot as our family was growing up!...Read full review »

I found out about this podcast through an essay written by Rod Dreher. After listening to a couple of episodes, I was hooked. It’s quickly become one of my favorite podcasts, so much so that I happily support the pod on patreon. Allow me to share a little personal information — it’ll soon become...Read full review »

This podcast is very helpful to me as I order my thinking around current affairs and understand the way a Christian can think distinctively about our place in the world. It’s also funny: the 3 hosts are charming and always raise a smile. I was recently stranded with my 18-year-old son in a broken...Read full review »

Witty and gritty conversation on current issues and how faith in Christ can help to navigate the challenges of our time through love. My favourite podcast

Brilliant podcast that I look forward to every week. An illuminating and interesting take on the often sad state of affairs of modern society, politics and the church. Entertaining listening with a good dose of healthy banter.

Sound opinions and firm views. Always look forward to hearing their take on the events of the times.

I make sure that I listen every week. Deeply Christian but not towing the line. Got me through lockdown with my faith intact and indeed deepened. The topics discussed are always thought provoking but plenty of light and shade from Jamie, Tom and Daniel. Give it a try!

I always look forward to sitting down with a cup of coffee and listening to this Christian and Bible based podcast. Jamie, Tom and Daniel talk about current topics that impact all of us and sometimes they have different points of view, which leads to interesting and thought provoking...Read full review »

Love listening to these guys. Informative and encouraging to hear fellow Christians raise eyebrows at the narratives that surround us. I’m not in C of E, but can relate to the same issues coming into my own Church movement. Also, Tom Pelham sounds like Louis Theroux which is nice and soothing to...Read full review »

This is probably my favourite podcast and the only one I am a Patreon of. I can’t recommended it highly enough. The Revs got me through some very tough times during the lockdowns when I felt my church had abandoned me. It’s alway interesting and I enjoy the good natured sparring between Father...Read full review »

I look forward to this podcast every week. Jamie, Tom & Daniel provide insightful, entertaining, erudite and at times charmingly meandering takes on current affairs, the church and bible studies. I can also recommend subscribing to them to get an extra weekly podcast: ‘Uncollared’. Thank...Read full review »

The Irreverend Podcast is something that I look forward to each week, and find it hard to live without. The issues of our day such are tackled head on and it is extremely encouraging to hear the 3 reverends, Jamie, Tom and Daniel, discuss these from a Christian perspective. It is an antidote to...Read full review »

I started listening to this podcast about a year or more ago, and finally decided to become a patron. I'm not even Anglican, but I found these three vicars's seriousness and earnestness about their faith, as well as the refreshing, even entertaining, nature of many of their shows, worth...Read full review »

First rate podcast. Insightful discussions of current affairs and how faith can play a vital role in today’s world

Topics covered are highly relevant. However, some of the attitudes and language used are not what the Lord Jesus would want His disciples to use. Criticism does not need to stray into rudeness… Praise God for His abundant forgiveness for all who trust in the Lord Jesus. Good podcast for people...Read full review »

This is usually my favorite podcast but on the latest episode discussing the Asbury revival, the Irreverends really missed the point. They were entirely judgmental about the faith of the people at the revival, all while protesting they weren’t in a hurry to judge - it was laughable. They’ve...Read full review »

I think Tom’s right about the Queen. Her death is sad for her family but she is just another human being but she has given royal ascent to some rather controversial anti-Christian laws in her reign.

Faith has always been in my heart. I’m not a church goer, but god is in me, as in everyone. Some just need to realise it. I’m so happy to have found this podcast. Classic Holmes and Watson format, with political sin taking the place of crime, and the more old-style bumbling vicar keeping the listener up to speed with the fast-talking mercurial one.

Episodes are around 2 hours long which is frankly too long. A lot of the chat could be taken out - the hosts could catch up in their own time and there would be a perfectly good podcast in half the time. Their take on the news is refreshing and for that reason I still listen.
