“For a long time I had difficulty finding a comic book podcast that felt honest and genuine. Most podcasts on this subject consist of fan boys full of fluff. Jim and Eric conversely are great, honest hosts who give entertaining opinions and breakdowns of literally every DC book released each week.
The length of this show seem intimidating at first but once I started listening time flew by. If you enjoy fun casual banter this podcast has you covered. If you just want to get straight to the comic talk this podcast is helpfully time stamped to let you know exactly when to skip to in order to find what you're looking for.
Since I've been listening to Weird Science I've actually found myself purchasing more weekly comics so that I can read along with these guys and hear their opinions. The fact that I'm willing to spend extra money on comics I normally wouldn't so that I can listen to Jim, Eric and sometimes Reggie speak about them should speak as a recommendation in its own right.
