Interesting angle elevating underrepresented voices
Just finished my first episode of Well Made - interview with Sana Javeri Kadri about her business, Diaspora Co. As someone who's looking to diversify the voices and influences in my life, I appreciated learning from a woman of color about her own culture. For those of us lucky enough to have agency about where and on what we spend our money, it’s important that we take a closer look at the details of what we consume, even down to the spices! I especially liked the part of the conversation about appropriation vs appreciation of different cultures’ food traditions. It’s an area I’ve definitely been unsure about and so many of us can educate ourselves better on. Looking forward to future episodes!Read full review »

Relatable, unpretentious, informative, quirky... if you are a creative or an entrepreneur or better yet a creative entrepreneur, this is a must listen. Better than How It’s Made in terms of takeaways. Focuses on brands that are of the moment and then nerds out with them. Well done, Lumi!

Lumi is such an awesome brand and I love this podcast, they always have the best guests - Helen from Fuzzco was super interesting.

This is one of the best if you’re interested in the entrepreneurial journey / stories. It’s like Guy Raz’s How I Built This, but more refreshing and relatable as it isn’t about billion-dollar, Fortune 500 companies. Very inspiring as a fellow entrepreneur, plus Stephen asks really good questions.
