Took me a minute to get into it but now my favorite
I will admit that when I first started this podcast, I was a bit frustrated by the the first 15 minutes or so being joke-y news. But if you go watch on YT, there are usually people who link to the beginning of the topic. Starting listening at 1.5x also helped. And now that I’ve gotten to know the hosts and their senses of humor and viewpoints, I absolutely love all of the tangents and cannot think of a better podcast to listen to while stuck in hellish traffic and fantasizing about a functional train system or while getting treatments in the hospital while hearing about how that has gone poorly for some people in the past. I can see this not being a podcast for everyone. If you are very upset by sorta socialism, occasional libertarianism, jokes about Northern Europeans (yay Liam!), and/or graveyard humor… sure. Probably not for you. But from the bottom of this Swedish and Persian woman’s heart, this is one of my favorite podcasts. Engineering, great personal chemistry, surprisingly accurate scientific chemistry (most non-chemists say the dumbest things), and delightful commentary from witty people.

I love everything this group is doing but the poor audio quality and talking over each other makes it hard to listen to.
