Dave Smallbone brought his family to America for a new adventure.  That adventure plays out on the big screen opening April 26th.  The movie, "Unsung Hero", is the story of the Smallbone family trying to start over afresh in the USA.  Dave was instrumental in the career(s) of Rebecca St. James, (his daughter), and For King & Country.  They also call him, "father."  (This episode originally aired May 1st, 2023)

He joined his first band when he was 10, studied the bass in America, landed a gig with Steven Curtis Chapman, and started writing and producing for other artists like Backstreet Boys, CeeLo Green, and Ace of Base. He was the music director for the hit show, “GLEE”, with over 800 songs produced for the show. Now in his directorial debut, “Journey to Bethelem” opens in theatres November 9th starring Antonio Banderas.
