Please don’t stop…
I have looked forward to this weekly podcast… This last episode indicating it was coming to a conclusion disappointed me. OF COURSE the police want this podcast to be over. DOUG and the two other officers who identified her when she was found INSTEAD OF HER PARENTS want this to be over. Things still don’t line up. The writings Sandy left DO NOT indicate she was promiscuous with many officers… but instead - just one. A married man who went too far and realized this situation was fun and then it wasn’t going to go away easily. Aren’t there a few more things to consider? The officer who spoke with Sandy’s cousin… he did a great job… but that’s what they pay him to do! I still want to wrap this story up with a big red bow… and it’s not there yet. Don’t stop! It won’t be many individuals… just one. I think a young girl was headed to meet Doug. The gun being there throws me off… but perhaps Doug asked her to bring it when they met… or she brought it to show it off - Who knows… but she doesn’t sound despondent. Why was the gun on the seat next to her… instead of in her hand or her lap or the floor? Oh! And to The Prince George Detective or administrator who told Kim the building had burned down? SHAME ON HIM! Did he think no one would find the building still existed??? Also seems strange Ed saved THIS file when he retired. Keep going… DONT stop.

Eh
Extremely mediocre podcast with more ads than time spent on the actual reporting. Annoying to listen to, wouldn’t recommend.

Interesting story. Good investigation by journalist and family.
