Baxterwood: call that a review?
That’s not a review. You couldn’t take it seriously because the narrative voice has changed? Why the heck not? It’s not a narrator or an actor, it a real life investigative journalist who investigates stories about violence towards women. That’s not so difficult to understand. I’ve only listened to the first episode, and so far, so good, and I’m looking forward to the rest. Don’t be put off because some bloke seemingly doesn’t really care about violence towards women, it’s a better podcast than that, give it a go and see for yourself. Most people are intelligent enough to figure out that a investigative journalist isn’t just a “voice”, but they are doing a valuable job of work. It’s an intriguing story that pulled me in quickly. Definitely worth listening to.

Spoiler… host trashes cops over numerous episodes just to conclude they were right all along. Is this what “journalism” has come to?

Very well done investigation. I am a true crime junkie and liked the way it was presented.
