“Amy gave a very compelling perspective of this tragic event in Oklahoma. She had a knack for story telling and it’s no surprise she is a
motivational speaker and wrote a book. Her self awareness was so relatable and entertaining. It’s hard to believe she was able to recall such specific details of what happened while in a 6 hour life threatening situation. Example “Native American picture on a wall that was totally undisturbed”. Such a classic Oklahoma scene in what otherwise looked like a war zone. We lived in Oklahoma at the time and I was traveling to OKC on I44 that morning and emergency vehicles were flying by us going faster than I was driving and I was speeding but until My husband called and told me to take the last exit before getting to the city and come home because the federal building was bombed. I was totally oblivious that something unusual was going on. And yet realized one of my boys was on a field trip to the Federal building in Tulsa and not knowing if this could happen again. It was an awful day for the state and entire county that we will never really understand. Great coverage of a close to home terrorist attack!”
