Serial Ranters
I have been listening to this podcast for a few months now, to broaden my mind. I also respect The Guardian as a source of balanced news. I am a white anglo saxon protestant male, the target of so much of the content of this podcast. I haven't really learnt much about feminism because the podcast seems to be a rant about sexism, racism, xenophobia and any political figure that doesn't meet with Jessica Valenti's approval. The presenters seem to feel similarly threatened by all those who express a view contrary to their own and behave defensively and take shots at "the establishment" from the sidelines. I'd love to hear more proposals and ideas about how they would behave were they to find themselves in a position of influence and/or authority. The podcast would also benefit from including people who don't have the same views as Jessica Valenti and those she has invited on to speak.Read full review »

Jessica is my hero! She covers timely subjects and has great guests. Love that the episodes are short - perfect for my commute! She is intelligent and affirms all my feminist feelings every week. Thanks for the awesome show!

I love this podcast. Jessica discusses many important topics. Many may shy away from this podcast because the word "feminist" STILL unfortunately has negative connotations, but this podcast is a great example of why being a feminist is for both men and women.Read full review »
