Absolutely essential
I’m not sure how I would have articulated this before listening to the pod, but I left academia behind because the abstract pessimism of thinkers like Foucault and Derrida seemed to have no application to the social justice movement work and political projects I became interested in. But in this terminal interregnum we find ourselves in, I’ve been hungry for new ways of perceiving what’s possible and advancing my critical analysis. I’ve found this pod to be absolutely essential in that regard!
