A Must Listen
Why? First, this is a very well produced and edited podcast. The sound quality is excellent with sound effects added that enhance the listening experience. Jesse Betend does a great job reporting, but is also empathetic with Angelica's story. Each episode moves along so smoothly that you won't believe an episode is already over. Second, this is an issue we all need to be made more aware of and concerned about. So many times we see the homeless under the bridges of our cities, at the end of an exit ramp, or wandering the streets with all their possesions in a commandeered shopping cart. And we judge. And yet we know nothing about them, or the system that is supposed to help them but can sometimes actually create more problems. Hopefully this podcast will help listeners change their minds about the plight of the homeless population in this country. I know it is changing mine.
