More than just Whiskey and Watches
Sure, you listen for the whiskey and the watches. Heck, maybe you listen for the world’s longest wrist check. But like finding an opossum in your trashcan late at night, this podcast has surprises. One minute the hosts could be talking about the Omega Constellation (again) and then BOOM, you are hearing how this relates to Heracles and the Stymphalian birds, maybe an obscure reference to Virgil’s Aeneid, perhaps Aristophanes and his plays. I now find myself not even caring about watches, I just spend my time arguing how Odysseus is the finest Greek hero. This next part is free concept for you. “You know what a Greek hero could really use when they’ve been far from home fighting gods and raging seas, monsters and magic? A good clean shave with Manscape…” On a more serious note, the hosts do a good job discussing things all us watch nerds discuss on our own anyways. So listening is sort of like hovering over the shoulder of someone at a Redbar meetup, where you are just constantly afraid they will attempt to fiddle with the crowns of all your vintage watches. I may be projecting on that last bit… keep up the good work guys!

Only thing to improve upon is better audio. It’s a podcast so I’d hope some new mics are used at some point to...Read full review »

Been listening to them for a few months and listened to the back catalog of their podcasts. Love the varying views they bring and have learned to love Buzz’s slow cadence 😂
