Love the pod. Very thought provoking and great to have the opportunity to hear Gao and Dan’s perspectives both.

As a leftie / Bernie supporter, I don’t think I would ever use the derogatory ‘woke’ to describe someone. But these two are definitely woke, and the reason most of society hates Hollywood and it’s pretentious writers.

The co-host is an extremely racist Korean woman. She seems to hate anyone that’s not Korean like her. The male host may be on some type of spectrum. Great podcast if you like racist Koreans.

This is one of the most thought-provoking bunch of conversations ever assembled. Two liberals—one an Asian woman committed to doggedly pursuing complete inclusivity and representation in the arts, the other a white man teetering skeptically between his own recognition that his co-host's...Read full review »

Love the podcast. But we’ve got enough white guys on podcasts already and I want to hear from the person this podcast should really be more focused on.

What racist focused ramblings...”we didn’t hire an Asian voice over actor” “growing up not seeing people like yourself on tv is traumatic” WTH? I grew up watching people an nobody was Chilean...grew up not being racist.

I enjoyed this podcast, but now it seems they just use this platform to promote other podcasts, literally an episode of a completely unrelated podcast posted as a new episode of this one.

I think Dan Harmon stopped making this podcast cause he was getting butthurt by you guys. It was a good show that could’ve kept going but everyone was getting triggered (listeners and hosts). Dan Harmon tried, I give him that. Not sure if he learned anything but he tried-ish. It’s a good podcast,...Read full review »

I binged this podcast over the last month, and I am so happy I did. Great rapport between Jessica and Dan, and I can’t wait to see what the next seasons topics will be on.

In a podcast about race and gender in writing, it’s so refreshing to hear the white male perspective dominate for once (77% of the time according to arementalkingtoomuch.com/)! I must admit that I only got halfway through episode 2 before I was overwhelmed with gratitude towards Dan as he was...Read full review »

This show about race inequality is steeped in biased opinions disguised as rhetoric. Jessica thinks that being an Asian woman qualifies her to speak on behalf of all minorities. It doesn’t. She also thinks she has the authority to tell white men when they’re allowed to insert their opinions. What...Read full review »

I thought the title was a punny on righting wrongs, but after listening to Dan stammer his mansplaining for about an hour, I realize they do actually mean to say they are Whit-ing Wongs. Great premise. Jessica might do better having her own separate show since itʻs clear Dan isnʻt ready to play...Read full review »

Good Show. How do I answer the question in the end of episode 2 “ who watches this show?” I really don’t know where to answer that and REALLY don’t want to open a twitter account in a vain attempt to reach out to the co-host. I love this podcast! As someone looking to break into the industry, this show gives me great insight. The guests are always awesome, too! That said, I would love to hear from Jessica WAY MORE! This show is informative and very helpful for all storytellers, no matter what your medium is. Jessica does a wonderful job of explaining “why” on so many questions about racism and gender issues. A podcast like this is a rare gem in the sea of gray rock that is the internet. Or like a rare flower that blooms only when a certain set of extraordinary conditions is met. Being very much like Dan (straight, white, cis, male, middle class, not quite that smart), I have found myself trying to learn many of these same things and, occasionally, putting my foot in my mouth and apologizing to someone for 10 minutes. Caveat: I only listened to 2/3 of the Thanksgiving episode but it was hard to get through 30 seconds of it without Dan making some kind of ‘knowing’ racist joke perpetuating East Asian stereotypes (e.g., you all look the same; Chinese food is ‘hot, stringy, and alienating’), or just derailing the...Read full review »
