Detailed, respectful, gripping
This is not your typical #TrueCrime podcast. It is an INVESTIGATION. Sarah Cailean is a bonafide researcher with a police pedigree to back that up. This review is based solely on episode 1 but so far this show has separated itself from the pack by not just recapping a brutal murder, but speaking to those involved, finding clues, opening case files and going to the places where the events actually occurred. I also want to congratulate Sarah on keeping the more gruesome aspects of this murder clinical and vital. A “decapitated” and “exsanguinated” victim found naked and lying “prone” may seem like gratuitous and overly detailed descriptions, but in Sarah’s hands they are words of respect and honor for the dead. I love all the background Sarah provides, not JUST about the case but about HER as well. It builds a great amount of trust between the investigator and the listener. I know Sarah is not going to sugarcoat anything, but she’s also going to give me the details in a way that I can trust and believe. 5⭐️’s Full disclosure: I am a WBD employee and I am an acquaintance of Sarah’s but I was not asked to write this review and these are my genuine opinions.

What about Mike? The guy who called in the tip about the drunken bragger…. He had info about what happened that wasn’t released to the public. Has anyone looked into him?
