Weightlifter and CrossFit mum of two
I was advised by my physio to listen to this podcast after I had a prolapse with my second child. I had entered a deep depression as exercise was my life and I felt I wouldn’t have any way of releasing energy or getting that amazing rush of endorphins after a work out. I began antidepressants and really struggled to feel better. After listening to this podcast, giving my body time to heal, stopping myself from watching Instagram mums exercising one day after giving birth, I slowly got better. I am now weightlifting heavy than before and working out 5-6 hours a week. Things do get better! Stay positive. X
