“Andrea - I found your podcast through the interwebs and I really like it. My favorite is mr casual, your most recent, because who hasn't been in that situation with someone who you still think is great, even after the fact, and that you got to ask him "Why not me?" is unbelievable - how much have I wanted to ask that before? Great radio.
My one bummer hang up is I really don't like Randy. Sorry, man. I think maybe he and I got off on the wrong foot, because I don't listen to your podcasts in order and the first one I listened to with him in it was the spring break podcast in Florida, where he comes off to me as condescending, a womanizer, and completely out of touch ("please touch this" ? I mean..) I understand his bluntness and honesty is not something we find everyday, but I'm bummed he's become such a focal point of your podcasts since I just can't listen to him. I'm sure he's a fine person, but I feel myself getting self conscious in the privacy of my own car as I hear him commenting on the first time he sees you "you look good for your size. you're stumpy but you look good." Then i'm like, is that what guys think? am I stumpy? do I need to be thinner/prettier? believe me, I do enough of this/females do enough of this in our twenties that we don't need another guy saying our fears out loud. I'm on why oh why's side, you make great radio and i love your tone, voice, and style, but I just am not team randy. xx”Read full review »

I love the transparency Andrea brings to podcasting as a form of discussion—whether it be with the production, the interviewing process, etc. As someone who wants to create their own podcast (and plans to thanks to you Why Oh Why!!) I’ve enjoyed both the subject matter...”Read full review »

“Informative and thought-provoking. Hilarious and cringeworthy. Not a dater myself (happily married) but I love vicariously hearing the horror stories of you unfortunate single-folk.
If you go to WFMU's showpage for Why Oh Why? there are some bonus episodes from before this show officially...”Read full review »
