“I started listening to this podcast first thing every morning -- before email and facebook and insta and news. Two years ago I was feeling restless and decided to take a solo trip to Alaska. Ever since returning to my "real life" in Denver, Colorado I've been daydreaming about moving to Alaska. I always framed it in my head as a daydream because I didn't have a real reason to do it. I have a perfectly fine life here in Colorado but "am I just supposed to just drive to and from the office every day until I retire!?" goes through my head almost every day. The interview with Steph Jagger about the false narrative about needing to hit rock bottom before making big, brave moves and then about focusing on starting lines instead of finish lines has been stuck in my head for weeks. I've decided to move to Alaska because it seems like a starting line that's been calling to me -- I have no idea what will come of it but thanks to Shelby and her guests, I can't ignore it any more.
