A great Windows podcast from the network of the Apple Fanboi-in-Chief?!? Why yes...
While I find the TWIT network's flagship show, This Week In Tech Media People Talking About Themselves, quite entertaining at times this is the TWIT show that I make a point of never missing. Paul Thurrott's insight as a guy who is close to Microsoft but who hasn't 'gone native' is the key to this show being not only informative to those interested in Microsoft's machinations, but also entertaining from a tech perspective. He knows what he's talking about - an increasing rarity among much of the tech media these days - and dispenses with any sign of the Pavlovian MS-bashing / Apple-drooling that too many people in tech media display, while having informed, balanced opinions of things non-Microsoft. His genial but laconic delivery is also superbly suited for the flavour of the show, and is a great counterpoint to Leo's even more genial and eager-beaver presentation. I also have to give kudos to Leo Laporte for picking such a great guy to do the podcast with (I mean, it could have been Randall C. Kennedy, couldn't it?... urg), and I have to admit it, such a great host and fantastic foil. Highly recommended if you have any interest in what's going on in the Windows world.Read full review »

A good duo with good tech info, and they make what can be boring into something fun to listen to. Five thumbs up!
