This podcast has become a favorite of mine. Learn a lot, very interesting information in a very entertaining style. Highly recommend whether you know a lot about wine or just beginning.

Good podcast overall, with possibly a few weak entries in the bunch. For example, the biodynamic discussion was wholly insufficient and gave far too much credit to the claims of this practice without any challenge to its lack is scientific rigor. The host seems to have prepared (well) for only...Read full review »

My daughter introduced me to this podcast when she was studying for a professional certification in wine. These episodes are so packed with information that you almost need to have a paper and pen at hand. Keith is a lively and engaging host. Highly recommend!

Learned a lot geographically about grapes and how climate, and soil really play a part in creating wine. Super cool places I’ve learned about and now want to explore just to learn more about the wine in an immersive way. Recommend this podcast if you see wine as more than a beverage but an...Read full review »

I tried listening to many of the podcasts. The earliest podcasts seemed informative especially if brand new to wine but later and most recent episodes have not been better. Oh my gosh if I had a dollar for every time he’s says “awesome” I would be able to afford a trip to Napa. Now the podcast...Read full review »

Content very good and easy to follow. Using to supplement material for an advanced level certification. Keith is a bit over the top “dude bro” for my personal taste in his presentation style, but he knows his stuff and is a good teacher. I’m guessing I’m a bit older than the target audience so...Read full review »

I have been studying for CSW exam (just passed it — phew) and was seeking other fun and informative sources to complement the thick and detailed preparation study guide. Keith had me at Burgundy. That was the first episode I stumbled upon and listened to and was amazed at how much accurate...Read full review »

Came here for a refresher before getting back into hospitality. Excellent enthusiasm and lack of pretense. Scientific breakdowns are wildly informative as well. Would really appreciate an episode on the use of oak in the winemaking process and the effects of specific aspects of terroir on the...Read full review »

Good content, very down to earth education but the exaggerated voice style of the presenter gets a bit annoying.

I’m new ish into the wine industry with no formal training. I’ve worked in the vineyard pruning and on the crush pad for a harvest and now tasting room. I know all these buzz words and know a base of information but you just broke it down way better than any cellar hand or wine maker has ever...Read full review »

I’m a Product Consultant for a alcoholic beverage retailer in Ontario, Canada and I came across this podcast, and I’m glad I did. Even though I have some knowledge on wine, I love how Keith talks about wine (and history) and makes it SO easy to learn. Genius is taking something complex and...Read full review »

As I am studying for my intro somm course, and as a baby novice to everything wine, Keiths personality witty, silly, yet passionate style helps so much and it is so refreshing not to listen to some pretentious snob that so many people in our industry has. Ignore all of the 1-4 star reviews. Keith...Read full review »

Loving this podcast! Not previously knowing much about wine, I’ve appreciated how Keith goes through all the basics of how wine is made, how to drink it, how to pair it, etc, in very entertaining and attention-grabbing episodes. I also love how each episode has a very specific topic, wether it be...Read full review »

I love Keith’s quirky personality and how he makes me not want to fall asleep while learning about wine. Definitely the most information I’ve withheld while learning about wine.

I am in the wine industry in the Finger Lakes and was excited to listen to the New York podcast in season 2 however was quickly disappointed by misinformation and mispronunciation. Dr. Frank worked on Keuka, pronounced Q-Ka (not Cayuga- pronounced Kay-you-gah). Cornell is NOT in Geneva on the...Read full review »

Don’t go buy an expensive book or course. Start here, from the beginning, and go through Keith’s episodes. Then go buy a book or course and you’ll be in such a good spot. He’s got a great way of breaking it down but not so much that semi experienced wine folks will feel overqualified. I always...Read full review »

I just smile my way through every episode because of his love for the wine. I’m a WSET Level 3 student and sometimes it’s just nice to have someone break down these wines in a different, casual way. Keep it up! PLEASE. 😃

Keith must always be on a four espresso day when he records the show because he is jacked up on enthusiasm for wine. Boring and stodgy he is not. Love that, keep up the fine work!
