Guest: Axel Monsaingeon - Real Estate Investor & Developer Axel, who was born and raised in the French Caribbean, moved to Canada to complete his high school education. After earning a BA in economics, he began working for a shipping company and appreciated the concrete aspect of the worldwide dance of containers delivering us fresh goods and affordable electronics. He began working for a manufacturing company in the pulp and paper industry after receiving a master's degree in supply chain management. Five years later, Axel had become weary of the corporate world and felt that he was not making the most of his ability and could contribute more to the world. Axel began to educate himself on real estate investing as a fantastic opportunity to build wealth passively. They began with a condo, added a second, then built five-unit multifamily, refinanced it, and the snowball continued to grow. Currently, they are managing several projects at once, including new construction, redevelopment, and renovation. Along with organizing frequent events for all types of real estate investors, Axel also launched the Very Real Estate Effect Podcast, which focuses on RE investing in Quebec. Axel is married with two children, enjoys cooking, and has a lively household.
