Can you please post the episode with the professional pencil sharpener?! Classic.

Best podcast, period.

Wiretap is the benchmark in which I compare any other radio/podcast. I’ve yet to find a show that is comparable. You should go look on the internet and listen to them all. This podcast, is hot garbage. There was a trickle of content, and now just puts out ads for other cbc shows.

I can't remember when I started listening to Wire Tap--seems like it must have been a lifetime ago. So glad to see it come back. Truly the best podcast ever and I've missed you!Read full review »

Endless creative entertainment! Daily mundane life made fascinating, by way of absurdity exaggerated, but only enough to maintain the reality of our quirky and disturbing humanity. Thank you so very much!

This is one of the best radio programs/podcasts of the modern era if not all time. The fluctuation between side-splitting laughter and gut-wrenching emotions is remarkable. Goldstein is a master storyteller, often leaving you walking around your day thinking of the dark or funny or darkly funny...Read full review »

Absolute gold - insightful, funny, true, touching…all the good things. My favourite binge listen!

When the show was originally on the radio years ago, it kept me entertained during long drives for work. The timing of this coming out during the pandemic gave me happy-nostalgia. The mix of silly phone calls between Jonathan and Gregor interspersed with introspective stories is great.

Love the show, probably my favorite podcast show now, and my favorite radio show then! Dig through that archive and publish some more!

Found this show back in 2008 and became a loyal listener whenever a new episode I could find aired. I loved it, it was really well written and well acted and sometimes felt like it wasn’t. I was incredibly sad to see it go off the air. I still listen to it years later, kind of in the same...Read full review »

Peabody worthy. Reminds me of Joe Frank meets Muffy Drake in Paris for drinks.

I began listening to Wiretap randomly on the radio, & then it became a scheduled event because I was intrigued by each episode. The podcast is a great way to access this legacy content.

Jonathan, I love this podcast. Please come back! I need a podcast like yours and have been unable to find anything comparable. Missing you!!! Missing all the cast. Please Come Back! 💚💚😎😎👍🏼

Wiretap is a unique and brilliant show, I am a huge fan, but this CBC podcast format stinks. Inane commercials keep interrupting Jonathan’s carefully created flow, the shows being advertised are ill-serviced by the extremely poor and obnoxious ads and I have to say that Tony Ho appears to be the...Read full review »

Jonathan Goldstein brings wit, warmth, compassion and hilarity to the often humdrum snorefest platform of podcasts. He IS the master! I love this show this [ ] much!

I loved listening to wiretap when it was broadcasted on the cbc. One f the best radio shows ever. Please bring back more episodes!

I love Johnothan Goldstein, he is a fantastic storyteller and an extrememly funny human. Howard is my spirit animal. The only problem with this podcast is that the COMMERCIALS ARE SO GODDAMN LOUD! Keep UP the good work and turn DOWN the commercial volume. Thanks.

I was looking for something new to subscribe for the commute to and I found Wiretap - I’m so happy I can’t wait to go to work tomorrow. I used to love it and can’t wait to listen to it all again

Ads are way louder than the rest of the podcast. Can be jarring. My favorite radio show ever, though. Miss him on CBC 💙

My fave radio show of all time. Have been searching for it and found little eps here and there, so I am so happy that it’s available again! Buzz + Dina forever.

I was really sad when Wiretap was over. Back then, I had only recently gotten into it, and it felt like saying goodbye to a good friend that I’d just met. It’s so nice to hear old episodes that I was never able to listen to in my original listenings. Thank you for bringing them back. I feel like...Read full review »

I missed this program so much. Hearing it again brought me back to life at the cottage. I even miss the original ads on the CBC.
hfafgsgsggs via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/13/20
Please either raise the audio level of the show or lower the level of the ads and interstitials. The difference is 15-20 db. It is alarming and painful when the ads come on.

Seeing wiretap being available made my whole year! I was so sad when they stopped making wiretap. JONATHAN PLZ BRING THIS BACK AND MAKE NEW EPISODES !!! Canada loves wiretap!

It is wonderful to have access to Jonathan and his podcasts once again... i’m still not sure if these are simply recycled, but it doesn’t matter, it made my day to download this next set. Would love to be able to access all of the episodes from all the seasons - easily my favourite cbc programme of all time. Hope they get a proper resurrection
Kiidumae via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/03/20
This is one of those bizarrely contrived shows that decision makers at CBC seem to want to push despite having no redeeming qualities. Weird is not the same as funny, nor is obnoxious behaviour necessarily funny. Sometimes it’s just boring and stupid. It’s not that I don’t “get” the humour. I...Read full review »

Heavyweight is my very fav podcast. You are hilarious there!! More Heavyweight, please. This is too stressful to listen to. I want to find the gems in WireTap (Radical Honesty was a really great listen), but there’s just too much that’s so hard to listen to. This is the first review I’ve ever...Read full review »
